SNAP Case Reviewer

Base Pay Range

$20.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Location: Remote (Massachusetts)

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Manage a queue of pending cases awaiting secondary review.
• Rigorously review cases using a standardized case review tool and apply current SNAP policy.
• Navigate eligibility systems and electronic documents to research cases.
• Document findings and communicate results to eligibility technicians and supervisors.
• Identify root causes of case errors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills:

• Extensive understanding and knowledge of SNAP eligibility policy.
• Familiarity with SNAP Quality Control process and error rate calculation.
• Ability to work closely with team members and managers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Detail and process improvement oriented.
• Enthusiastic, independent, and self-motivated.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all materials.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience supervising SNAP eligibility staff and/or completing SNAP quality assurance activities.
• Previous experience in consulting and/or training strongly preferred.

Logistics:

• This is a 100% remote position.
• Pay range: $20-$28 per hour, depending on experience and location.
