Construction Quality Project Manager​/Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Project Mange with Solid experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control(QA/QC) in Large industrial or Commercial Projects for a long-term assignment local to Metro Detroit.

• Support start-to-finish construction project(s), including installation of building foundation, structural steel, Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing (MEP) Systems, and infrastructure
• Develop, implement, and manage a QA/QC control plan across all phases of the construction project
• Attend Project Meetings, create reports, and maintain quality related documentation
• Inspect and verify the quality of site development, civil work, foundations, structural steel, and MEP systems
• Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, industry standards, manufacturer requirements, and project specifications
• Responsible for filing and maintaining all QA/QC Documentation
• Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to enforce quality standards, provide technical support and guidance, and resolve any issues that may arise on site
• Review and evaluate Construction & MEP drawings, Equipment Layouts, and Installation procedures for completeness and compliance

• Min 7+ years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control(QA/QC) Industrial/Larger Commercial Project
• Solid knowledge of Construction and MEP Systems, including installation and commissioning
• Experience working with Engineering, Contractors, and Trades
• Solid understanding of construction standards, testing procedures, commissioning requirements, and documentation processes
• Excellent Communication skills, verbal & written. Ability to communicate with skilled Trades, Engineering, and Management teams
• Knowledge of MS Office, CAD System(s), Procore, Bluebeam, or other construction QA/QC
