Head of Quality

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with an ambitious manufacturing organisation in Hull seeking a dynamic Head of Quality to lead and inspire their quality function. This is a unique opportunity for a senior quality professional to take ownership of the full quality lifecycle and drive excellence across all areas of the business.
Reporting to the executive team, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the quality strategy, leading a team of quality professionals, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation. You will have the autonomy to influence processes, ensure regulatory and customer compliance, and drive measurable improvements across product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing quality team.
• Own and optimise the full quality lifecycle, from product design and development to manufacturing, delivery, and post-market feedback.
• Establish robust quality management systems, processes, and metrics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met at every stage of the business.
• Lead investigations into quality issues, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Stay ahead of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices to maintain compliance and competitive advantage.

• Experienced in managing quality teams in a manufacturing or complex product environment.
• Strong understanding of the full quality lifecycle and hands-on experience in process improvement.
• Proven track record of implementing and sustaining quality management systems (ISO or equivalent).
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
