The Quality Manager oversees the adherence to quality and safety standards for Majid Al Futtaim Retail’s Private label products. They ensure the proper execution of the entire Private Label Quality Process, including validating technical files and label artwork, handling customer complaints, managing product recalls, and conducting supplier approval audits. Their primary focus is on maintaining Private Label Quality and Safety while ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
Job Role:
Follow product development procedures to ensure timely delivery of Private Label products according to the development plan.
Participate in the supplier selection committee for new product development projects.
Coordinate supplier approval audits to endorse manufacturing sites.
Coordinate product/recipe validation through panel assessments and laboratory analyses.
Verify all packaging information, label artwork, and print proofs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Develop lab analysis control plans and sampling strategies for existing private-label products.
Develop a plan for supplier approval audits and validate action plans for existing Private Label suppliers.
Participate in the withdrawal and recall committee and oversee the implementation of action plans.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Food Technology, or Veterinary Science.
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience.
Experience in R&D, regulatory compliance, new product development, or Quality product development and monitoring processes.
Proficiency in Quality control and Food safety standards and regulations.
