Position: Quality Officer, £30,897 - £34,662 OCC, Hybrid (Homeworker)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Officer to support Forensic Units, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements. Working as part of a small, enthusiastic team, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality systems through audits, inspections, and collaborative problem-solving across forensic operations in Norfolk and Suffolk.

This is a hybrid, home-based role, offering flexibility; however, there is a requirement to attend OCC in Wymondham on a weekly basis to support effective collaboration, strengthen team dynamics, and build strong working relationships. The role will also require travel to various sites across Norfolk and Suffolk to carry out quality assurance activities.

This position is offered as a job share, primarily covering the latter part of the working week, although the exact working pattern is flexible and open to negotiation. The role requires someone who can work both independently and collaboratively, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and maintaining high professional standards within a regulated forensic environment.

    levels of technical understanding
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to plan and prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to problem solve and work on own initiative
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to travel within the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk.

  • An awareness of International Quality Standards in particular ISO 17025 and 17020
