ABOUT
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Head of Technical, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and elevating quality standards across the group. This is a hands-on position with broad scope - from day-to-day internal site audits through to supporting major external certifications such as BRC. You will be central to ensuring all sites operate in alignment with a centralised quality management system, driving consistency and continuous improvement throughout the business.
Please note that travel is a key requirement of this role, and the ideal candidate must be flexible and comfortable with regular travel across sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Day-to-day internal auditing across multiple sites
* Management of Quality Systems, ensuring all sites adhere to a centralised framework
* Supporting internal audits in line with company standards
* Supporting external audits including BRC and customer audits
* Supporting supplier audits
* Managing audit follow-ups and implementing corrective actions
* Upholding and developing training standards across the group
* Handling and managing customer complaints
REQUIREMENTS:
* Previous experience within an auditing role - essential
* Recognised Auditor qualification
* HACCP and Food Safety qualification
* Degree in a relevant food-related discipline
* Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work effectively across multiple sites and teams
* Flexibility with travel - regular travel across sites is required as part of this role
