Home-Based Food Safety Auditor

Leverage your food safety expertise in our home-based Management Systems Lead Auditor role. This position offers extensive travel and an opportunity to work with FSSC
22000 and ISO
9001 standards.

In this role, you'll perform comprehensive business assurance assessments and issue certifications, deferrals, or suspensions as needed. You will build solid external and internal client relationships while generating insightful reports that exceed technical review requirements. Your experience in third-party auditing will be crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct business assurance assessments for certification recommendations

• Build relationships with clients for effective communication

• Prepare detailed reports aligned with project expectations

• Perform audits based on FSSC
22000 and ISO
9001 standards

• Travel weekly to different client sites for assessments

Requirements:

• GFSI Lead auditor certification is required

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the food industry

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite tools

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Relevant degree in food science or related field
