Systems Testing & Quality Assurance Expert

Enhance software quality with Metrolinx as a Senior Systems Testing and QA Specialist. This 6-month contract offers a blend of onsite and remote work while ensuring compliance with rigorous testing standards.

With over eight years of testing experience, you will engage in planning, developing, and executing detailed testing strategies in agile and waterfall environments. This role requires expertise in functional, systemic, and regression testing, along with strong communication abilities to interact with various stakeholders. A related university degree is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate end-to-end testing with developers

• Evaluate software performance against user specifications

• Write and revise quality standards and procedures

• Maintain oversight of regression testing activities

• Convey testing progress and outcomes to management

Requirements:

• At least 8 years in quality assurance and testing

• 5+ years in script writing for testing frameworks

• Advanced experience in JIRA, Zephyr, or similar

• Completion of a relevant university degree

• Familiarity with both functional and non-functional testing
