We are seeking a motivated and experienced Regulatory Affairs Artwork Specialist to join our Regulatory Affairs team and support regulatory artwork activities related to Health Canada. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in pharmaceutical labelling/artworks within a dynamic and growing organization.
Responsibilities:- Create or revise labelling artworks, including primary, secondary, and any packaging components.
- Assist in creation and revision of Product Monograph for Health Canada submissions.
- Assist in preparation responses to labeling clarification requests received from Health Canada.
- Assist in labeling post approval activities of the Regulatory Affairs department.
- Proactive self-starter with hands‑on approach, determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design and production requirements, as per company standards.
- Work independently and in a team setup to effectively complete the assigned work and label creation/revision with minimal support.
- Obtain team approval by presenting final layouts and illustrations, encouraging members to provide feedback, and responding to internal commentary and requests.
- Maintain appropriate and precise database for the labelling artworks and supporting files.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members across the business and externally.
- Support to develop, maintain and improve robust labelling processes and procedures to ensure compliance, accuracy, and consistency across product lines.
- Manage timelines and communication of projects allocated.
- Manage multiple projects at any given time and produce content with short deadlines due to the fast‑paced nature of the industry.
- Remain up to date on applicable Health Canada guidance documents impacting labelling.
- Perform all other related tasks deemed relevant in the context of this position assigned by company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (life science‑related field preferred) or other relevant training
- 5+ years of relevant experience required in pharmaceutical drug product labelling and/or labelling artworks.
- Well‑verse with the tools and software’s used in pharmaceutical labels creation, as per current industry practices.
- Strong understanding of Health Canada Guidance documents impacting labelling and changes to approved labels and artworks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster strong independent working relationships with key stakeholders (internally and externally).
- Ability to prioritize workload and effectively manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, results oriented environment to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
- Strong commitment to quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a team‑based environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Fluency in English and French is essential (due to the presence of French‑ and English-speaking partners)
