Our Supplier Quality function plays a critical role in assuring the integrity, safety and performance of our global supply chain. As we scale rapidly to support fleet deployment, we must ensure every supplier meets the stringent quality, regulatory and compliance requirements expected of a nuclear grade supply chain.
To support this, we are recruiting a Supply Chain Quality Professional to lead supplier audits, provide robust governance, drive data driven insights and ensure our suppliers consistently meet the standards required to deliver safe, compliant and high quality products and services. Reporting into the Supplier Quality Manager, this role helps shape supplier readiness, develop long term capability and protect product integrity across the full supplier lifecycle.
- Perform supplier audits, assessments and surveillance activities to ensure suppliers comply with SMSR, regulatory and quality requirements and verify that effective controls are in place.
- Prepare high quality reports and analyses to identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities leading to recommendations that support sourcing and strategic decisions.
- Support containment, root cause analysis and corrective action activity to stabilise and improve supplier performance - and work cross-functionally within RRSMR and external suppliers to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate, compliant supplier related data within ERP, audit and QMS systems, ensuring governance, change control, regulatory requirements and internal quality standards are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to suppliers and customers as part of audit, assurance and development activities.
- You’ll bring strong quality assurance capability, confidence conducting supplier audits and an ability to influence stakeholders in complex and regulated environments, notably Quality assurance experience in regulated or complex industrial environments with proven experience conducting supplier audits or assessments.
- Working knowledge of ISO
9001, AS9100 or equivalent standards, with the ability to interpret and apply quality requirements effectively. - Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence influencing without authority and collaborating onsite with suppliers.
- A degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Formal Quality training including ISO
9001 (or equivalent), Lead Assessor (ISO
9001 & ISO
19443), and experience with problem solving methodologies (8D, A3, RCCA, 5
Why). - And if you have Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), APQP/PPAP exposure, and experience across global or multisite supply chains - then we really ought to talk.
This role can be based from our Manchester or Warrington office.
Hybrid working is standard, with regular supplier travel required. Some international travel may also be required depending on supplier activity.

Pay Range: £42,000.00 - £55,125.00
