NSF is looking for an Agricultural Technical Scheme Lead to provide technical leadership across a portfolio of pig assurance and certification programmes such as Red Tractor. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your technical expertise to influence standards, support certification decisions, work directly with industry stakeholders and help maintain confidence in assurance programmes that play a vital role across the pig supply chain.

Whether you're already working in assurance or supporting compliance within a producer, processor or agricultural business, this role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a global organisation whilst helping shape standards and best practice across the pig industry.

• Remote Working:
  Work from home, with support from a collaborative UK-based team

  Act as a technical expert within agricultural assurance and food production

  Apply and further develop your expertise across auditing, certification and scheme management

Including, but not limited to:

• Act as the technical expert for NSF's pig assurance and certification schemes
• Provide guidance and support to scheme owners, customers, auditors and internal teams
• Review audit and certification activities to ensure scheme requirements are met
• Support auditor training, calibration and technical consistency
• Manage technical issues, complaints and scheme-related enquiries
• Contribute to scheme development, industry projects and business growth initiatives
• Represent NSF with customers, scheme owners and at industry events

• Strong technical knowledge of the pig industry
• Experience working with agricultural standards, assurance programmes, or compliance requirements
• Understanding of pig production standards and industry best practice
• Ability to interpret requirements, make sound technical decisions and solve complex issues
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Auditor qualifications or certification scheme experience would be advantageous
• Agricultural qualification (or equivalent) would be advantageous
