We are seeking an experienced Temporary Quality Manager (GCP/GVP) to support a global development quality function within an innovative, science-led biotechnology environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a quality professional with expertise in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP) to play a key role in quality system governance, quality event oversight, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives across a global organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Global Development stakeholders to drive process improvements, standardisation, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage quality metrics and trend reporting to support continuous improvement activities.
- Oversee the Quality Event portfolio and provide subject matter expertise to functional teams.
- Lead quality data analysis, root cause investigations, and CAPA development and implementation.
- Manage Quality System Metrics, including reporting, thresholds, actions, and effectiveness measures.
- Facilitate governance meetings and present Quality Management System performance data to stakeholders.
- Coordinate procedural document reviews and impact assessments.
- Support and promote a strong quality culture across the organisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen Quality Management System effectiveness and compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years' experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
- Experience with in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or Clinical Development environments.
- Strong working knowledge of GCP and/or GVP regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing or supporting Quality Management Systems (QMS), quality events, governance processes, and continuous improvement activities.
- Experience conducting investigations, root cause analyses, and CAPA management.
- Experience acting as a Subject Matter Expert, Process Owner, or Business Process Owner within a quality-related function.
- Experience supporting regulatory inspections and audit readiness activities.
- Previous experience training, mentoring, or supervising colleagues.
- Strong project management, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation abilities.
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fully remote working arrangement.
