As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will lead supplier quality assurance activities and support the continued advancement of Engineering Services' quality management programs. Your goal will be to ensure supplier and fabricator compliance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain the effectiveness of quality systems that support safe, reliable, and efficient project delivery. Your success will be demonstrated through effective management of quality issues, strong supplier performance, successful audit outcomes, measurable improvements in key performance indicators, and the delivery of value-added quality solutions across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

Manage supplier and fabricator quality issues, including NCRs, quality deviations, and corrective actions

Conduct root cause investigations and oversee the resolution of non-conformances

Plan and execute supplier audits and quality assessments

Coordinate and oversee third-party inspector onboarding and quality activities

Review inspection findings, audit reports, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)

Manage quality documentation, lessons learned, continuous improvement initiatives, and KPI reporting

Develop and maintain Supplier and Fabrication Quality Plans

Lead supplier pre-qualification activities and support the Supplier Monitoring Program

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks, maintain compliance, and drive process improvements

Your Skills

Strong knowledge of quality assurance, auditing, and quality management systems

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities

Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and effectively manage conflict

Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills

Understanding of procurement, sourcing, contract management, and project delivery principles

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and data analysis tools

Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment

Your Experience

Post-secondary education in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience

Proven experience in quality assurance, auditing, and supplier quality management

Knowledge of quality inspection principles and corrective action processes

Experience working in manufacturing, oil and gas, or downstream operations is considered an asset

Experience in an ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 environment is considered an asset

Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt considered an asset

The expected salary range for this position is $95,207 - $148,524. Placement within range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
