About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their operations on a fully remote basis, supporting activities from Tembisa. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across all manufactured pharmaceutical products. You will be responsible for performing rigorous testing, analyzing results, and maintaining accurate documentation to meet stringent regulatory requirements.

- Conduct comprehensive quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products using validated methods.
- Perform laboratory analysis utilizing techniques such as HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry.
- Document all testing procedures, results, and observations meticulously in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing.
- Prepare and review quality control reports and summaries for regulatory submissions and internal audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control or analytical testing.
- Proficiency with common analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR).
- Thorough understanding of GMP, GLP, and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, SAHPRA).
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
