About the Role
Our client seeks a dedicated and experienced Remote Pharmaceutical Quality Control Specialist to bolster their quality assurance efforts, operating entirely from home to serve operations based in Rustenburg . This critical role ensures that all pharmaceutical products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements through meticulous testing and documentation. You will play a key part in maintaining the integrity and safety of our client's pharmaceutical offerings by performing detailed analyses and implementing robust quality control procedures.

- Develop, validate, and implement quality control testing procedures for raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products.
- Perform analytical testing using various laboratory instruments and techniques, such as HPLC, GC, and spectroscopy.
- Review and approve batch records, ensuring compliance with established specifications and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Investigate deviations and out-of-specification (OOS) results, documenting findings and recommending corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities, ensuring traceability and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, and regulatory affairs teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA).
- Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Proficiency with analytical instrumentation and laboratory techniques common in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
