Job Description & How to Apply Below
QA Lead £60,000 - £80,000 | Permanent | Northern Ireland Applicants must be based in Northern Ireland. We are working with a fast-growing, AI-driven technology business that is transforming how large global organisations understand and improve financial performance. The company has around 50 employees globally, with a strong engineering function, and its platform is already used by major international organisations across the US, Europe and EMEA.

With continued international expansion and further investment in its technology, the business is now looking to appoint a QA Lead to help shape and develop its quality function. The Opportunity This is a great opportunity for a senior QA professional who wants more than simply executing test cases. You'll have the opportunity to build QA processes, introduce best practice, improve automation and influence how quality is embedded throughout the development and release lifecycle.

The platform brings together data from multiple business systems and uses AI, advanced analytics and machine learning to provide organisations with real-time insight into the drivers behind their financial performance. As the company continues to scale, you'll play an important role in ensuring the platform remains robust, reliable and scalable.

The Role As QA Lead, you'll take ownership of the QA function and help establish a scalable, modern approach to quality across the business. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering and Operations to improve testing processes, strengthen automation and ensure the right quality standards are embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Build and develop QA processes, frameworks and best practices across the organisation. Drive the adoption and improvement of automated testing. Develop automated tests and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. Establish effective approaches to BDD and test automation. Work with Engineering to improve test environments and environment provisioning. Support and improve release management and release readiness. Introduce greater consistency around QA planning, execution, reporting and quality standards.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through tooling, automation and better ways of working. Provide technical guidance and support to QA team members. Help shape the future structure and capability of the QA function. What We're Looking For We're looking for a senior QA professional who is comfortable taking ownership and building something rather than simply working within an established framework.

Ideally, you'll have experience with:
Automated testing and test frameworks Playwright BDD CI/CD pipelines Environment provisioning and test environment management Release management Agile development environments Performance testing would be beneficial, but is not essential You don't need to have every skill listed above. The key is that you're someone who can think strategically about quality, get hands-on when required and drive meaningful improvements across the development lifecycle.

Why Join? Take genuine ownership of the QA function and its evolution. Opportunity to build and improve processes from the ground up. Work closely with senior Product, Engineering and Operations stakeholders. Help shape automation, CI/CD and modern QA practices. Join a growing, engineering-led technology business with an established global customer base. Work on an AI-driven product operating at the intersection of technology, data and financial intelligence.

Competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000, depending on experience. If you're a senior QA professional based in Northern Ireland looking for an opportunity where you can have real influence over how quality is delivered, we'd love to hear from you. For more information or to apply, please contact:
