Quality Control Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Control Manager to lead their quality assurance efforts from a remote setting. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of our manufactured products. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality control systems and processes across all production stages. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of quality management frameworks and a proven track record of driving quality improvements through data analysis and strategic initiatives, all managed remotely.

You will collaborate closely with manufacturing, R&D, and customer support teams to ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction.

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality control policies, procedures, and standards.
• Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities.
• Manage the documentation and record-keeping for all quality control activities.
• Conduct remote audits of manufacturing processes and systems to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Lead and mentor the remote quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools.
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a remote team and communicate across different departments.
