About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join their remote team, supporting operations for their pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, with a focus on sites relevant to East London. This role is critical for ensuring that all pharmaceutical products are manufactured in compliance with stringent regulatory standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). You will be involved in reviewing batch records, auditing processes, managing deviations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of QA principles within the pharmaceutical industry and excels in a remote work environment. This is a vital position contributing to the quality and safety of medicines globally.
- Review and approve batch manufacturing records, ensuring adherence to GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and support external regulatory inspections and customer audits.
- Manage deviations, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and change controls.
- Participate in validation activities and ensure compliance with relevant validation protocols.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
- Provide QA support and guidance to manufacturing, QC, and other departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP regulations and quality management systems.
- Experience with batch record review, deviation management, and CAPA systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and ability to work autonomously.
