Quality Assurance Lead - Manufacturing

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Lead to spearhead their quality initiatives within the manufacturing sector, operating remotely. This role is pivotal in establishing and maintaining the highest standards of product quality and process integrity across all manufacturing sites. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust QA strategies, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive Quality Assurance programs and policies for manufacturing operations.
• Oversee the design and execution of quality control procedures, testing protocols, and inspection processes.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of Quality Assurance specialists and technicians.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
• Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle.

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance , with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with remote team management and virtual collaboration tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
