About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Hygiene Auditor to join their compliance team, working from anywhere in South Africa . This role is critical for evaluating and ensuring adherence to stringent hygiene and sanitation standards across various company locations through remote assessment methods. You will conduct virtual reviews, analyze operational data, and provide comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations.

The ideal candidate is adept at using technology for audits, possesses a deep understanding of hygiene protocols, and can effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

• Plan and conduct remote audits of hygiene and sanitation practices at client sites using digital tools and documentation.
• Assess compliance with company policies, industry best practices, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Analyze audit findings and prepare detailed reports outlining non-compliance issues and areas for improvement.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback and recommendations to site managers and relevant teams.
• Develop and update audit checklists and protocols based on evolving standards and operational feedback.
• Maintain meticulous records of all audit activities and follow-up on corrective actions.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Food Science, Public Health, Environmental Health, or similar.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in hygiene, sanitation, quality assurance, or auditing, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of hygiene standards, food safety regulations (if applicable), and general sanitation best practices.
• Proficiency in remote auditing techniques and relevant software (e.g., video conferencing, data analysis tools).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
