About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly organized and knowledgeable Remote Aviation Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to all relevant aviation regulations and standards. Working exclusively from home, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs that support the company's aviation operations. This role demands a thorough understanding of aviation law, safety protocols, and quality management systems. You will play a vital part in maintaining the company's reputation for safety and operational excellence by ensuring all activities meet or exceed regulatory requirements, supporting a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain aviation compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Stay current with changes in aviation regulations and advise on necessary updates to policies and procedures.
- Assist in preparing for external audits by regulatory bodies.
- Manage and maintain compliance documentation and records.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance matters.
- Proven experience as an Aviation Compliance Specialist or in a related regulatory role within the aviation industry.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., SACAA, ICAO) and compliance management.
- Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting.
