Quality Assurance Manager - Food Products

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee product quality for their diverse range of FMCG food products. This fully remote position requires a dedicated professional committed to upholding the highest standards of food safety and quality management. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust QA systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive Quality Assurance programs and policies for FMCG food products.
• Ensure compliance with all local and international food safety standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
• Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential quality and safety issues.
• Oversee product testing, specifications, and release procedures, working closely with production and R&D teams.
• Manage supplier quality assurance programs, including audits and performance evaluations.
• Lead and train the QA team, fostering a culture of quality consciousness throughout the organization.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, with a strong focus on the FMCG food industry.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety management systems, regulatory requirements, and auditing procedures.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing QA/QC strategies that ensure product integrity.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage quality assurance remotely and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
