About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Remote Automotive Quality Inspector to ensure the highest standards of quality in vehicle manufacturing and component supply. This role involves remotely analyzing quality data, reviewing inspection reports, and collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues. You will be instrumental in upholding product excellence and customer satisfaction from a remote location, contributing to the company's reputation for reliability and quality in the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze quality control data, inspection reports, and customer feedback to identify potential quality concerns.
- Develop and implement remote quality monitoring processes and standards for automotive components and finished vehicles.
- Collaborate with manufacturing plants and suppliers to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct virtual audits of manufacturing processes and supplier quality systems.
- Prepare detailed quality reports and present findings and recommendations to management and relevant teams.
- Stay updated on automotive quality standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in automotive quality control, assurance, or inspection, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques for identifying quality trends.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and liaise with various stakeholders.
