About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and experienced Quality Control Inspector to ensure the highest standards of product quality for their FMCG products in Mossel Bay . This role involves conducting rigorous inspections and tests throughout the production process, from raw materials to finished goods. You will be a key player in maintaining product integrity, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This position offers a chance to work in a beautiful coastal town and contribute to a company that values quality and excellence, with a flexible hybrid arrangement allowing for some remote work to support administrative tasks and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine quality inspections on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Conduct various tests and analyses to verify product specifications and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality records.
- Identify non-conforming products and implement appropriate corrective actions and containment procedures.
- Collaborate with production and R&D teams to address quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all quality control equipment is calibrated and maintained properly.
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector , preferably in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, testing methods, and relevant industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and quality control charts.
- National Certificate in Quality Assurance, Food Technology, or a related field.
