Remote Quality Assurance Technician

Our client is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join their team remotely. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and integrity of our manufactured products by developing and implementing rigorous testing protocols. You will work closely with the production and engineering teams to identify, document, and resolve quality issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.

This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while making a significant impact on product excellence for our operations based near Tembisa .

• Develop and execute comprehensive quality control plans and test procedures.
• Inspect and test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods for compliance with specifications.
• Document non-conformance issues and work with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Analyze quality data and generate reports on key performance indicators and trends.
• Maintain accurate records of all quality checks and testing activities.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Proficiency in using quality control tools and measurement equipment.
• Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a virtual team environment.
