Quality Systems Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly competent Quality Systems Engineer to remotely oversee and enhance their quality management systems. This role is crucial for ensuring that all products and processes meet rigorous industry standards and customer expectations. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance protocols, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This remote position requires a meticulous individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of quality frameworks to drive excellence from afar, supporting operations in Nelspruit and beyond.

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure adherence to procedures and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
• Develop and deliver quality training programs to employees at all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality considerations into all stages of product development and manufacturing.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure the QMS remains current and effective.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality engineering or quality management roles.
• Proven experience in implementing and managing QMS, ideally with ISO 9001 certification.
• Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and CAPA methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and auditing skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage projects remote.
