Quality Assurance Specialist - Remote

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join their distributed team, supporting their manufacturing operations. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured products meet rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements through comprehensive testing and process evaluation. This role is critical in maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction, contributing directly to the company's reputation for excellence.

• Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and test procedures for manufacturing processes and products.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of production lines to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze product defects, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement process enhancements.
• Maintain accurate quality control records and prepare detailed reports on quality performance metrics.
• Stay current with industry quality standards, regulations, and best practices in quality assurance.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques for identifying trends and anomalies.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and effectively communicate findings and recommendations remotely.
