The CompanyA leading food manufacturing business supplying products to major retailers and customers across the UK and Europe. Operating within a highly regulated environment, the business is committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality and compliance.
The RoleThey are now looking for a Quality Systems & Compliance Coordinator to support the Technical team with quality systems, compliance administration, reporting, specifications management and audit preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Quality Systems Manager with quality systems administration and compliance activities
- Assist with data management, report writing and KPI reporting
- Maintain customer portals, interfaces and system access requirements
- Support customer audits by ensuring documentation is accurate and audit-ready
- Assist with finished product specifications, raw material specifications and supplier documentation
- Support supplier approval processes and vendor questionnaires
- Maintain and update technical documentation and SharePoint information
- Support technical projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide administrative support across the Technical function
- Ensure records are maintained accurately and confidentially at all times
- Support compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory standards
- Previous experience within a Technical, Quality, Compliance or Administration role
- Experience with in food manufacturing would be advantageous
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems and document control processes
- Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP principles and regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with BRCGS, IFS or customer audit standards is desirable
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Right to Work in the UK
