Remote Pharmaceutical Quality Control Specialist

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Remote Pharmaceutical Quality Control Specialist to support their operations, with a key focus on teams based in Durban . This role is essential for ensuring that all pharmaceutical products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for reviewing documentation, analyzing quality data, and contributing to the continuous improvement of quality management systems, all while working remotely.

This position requires a strong understanding of GMP principles and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of product quality and safety in a virtual work environment.

• Review and approve batch records, analytical test results, and other quality-related documentation.
• Participate in internal audits and support external regulatory inspections as required.
• Investigate deviations, out-of-specification results, and customer complaints, recommending corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Monitor and analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, and regulatory affairs teams to address quality issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control or quality assurance.
• In-depth knowledge of cGMP, ICH guidelines, and other relevant pharmaceutical regulations.
• Strong understanding of analytical testing methods and laboratory procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and autonomously in a remote setting.
