Remote Aircraft Quality Assurance Specialist

Our client, a premier provider of aviation services and manufacturing, is actively seeking a highly experienced Remote Aircraft Quality Assurance Specialist. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality management systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and industry best practices.

• Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance programs and procedures for aviation maintenance and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct remote audits and inspections of internal processes, supplier performance, and external service providers.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulatory requirements (e.g., SA-CAA, EASA, FAA) and company quality standards.
• Investigation quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformities, facilitating resolution.
• Develop and deliver quality assurance training to relevant personnel.
• Maintain comprehensive quality records and documentation.
• Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Stay updated on evolving aviation regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering, maintenance, production, and management teams in a remote setting.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the aviation industry (MRO or Manufacturing).
• In-depth knowledge of aviation quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations and certification processes.
• Experience with auditing techniques and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing CAPA plans.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration and reporting.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with digital quality management software is a plus.
