Production Quality Control Manager

Our client, a prominent entity in the manufacturing and production sector, is seeking a seasoned Production Quality Control Manager to lead their quality assurance efforts in Rustenburg, North West . • Develop and implement robust quality control strategies and procedures.
• Oversee all quality assurance activities, including inspections, testing, and audits.
• Manage and mentor the quality control team, providing guidance and training.
• Analyze quality data and identify trends to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D departments to address quality issues.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality failures and implement effective solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality control/assurance, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven experience in the manufacturing or production industry.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with quality audit procedures and standards like ISO 9001.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage tasks both on-site and remotely effectively.
• Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
