Quality Control Supervisor

Our client, a reputable manufacturing firm located in Upington , Northern Cape , is seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor. This is a critical remote role responsible for overseeing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure all manufactured products meet the highest standards. The successful candidate will lead a team, analyze quality data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in product quality and consistency.

You will play a pivotal role in maintaining product quality, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction through rigorous quality control measures, all managed remotely.

• Supervise and guide the quality control team in performing inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address deviations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate remotely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Conduct regular audits of quality control processes and systems.
• Train and mentor quality control personnel.
• Prepare detailed quality reports for management review.
• Manage the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Science, Engineering, or Quality Management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment, preferably supporting operations in or near Upington .
• Proven experience in supervising a quality control team.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and lead a team remotely.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality.
