Valuations Analyst- Remote

House Buyers of America is looking for a 100% remote Valuations Analyst (VA) who will be responsible for valuing prospective deals and determining a scope of work for properties we acquire. The VA must be able to determine a reliable estimate of market value for prospective deals to be used by House Buyers of America in determining whether to acquire a residential property.

In addition to acquisitions, the VA must also be able to determine a reliable pricing strategy to sell properties that have been acquired by House Buyers.

What You Will Be Doing

• Determine the pricing strategy to maximize ROI for all of the properties that we acquire and determining the turnaround times for dispositions
• Partner with the Sales and Construction Departments regarding pricing decisions, budget and the scope of work for the overall construction strategy
• Value properties across the entire US and ensuring the accuracy of all valuations
• Meet the turnaround objectives for all valuations and ensuring that properties do not sit too long on the market
• Handle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Perform any other tasks necessary to help the company meet its goals

About You

• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential property valuations/underwriting
• Appraisal license or completed appraisal coursework (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new technology
