As a Real Estate Appraiser, you will report directly to the Manager of Real Estate Analysts. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough appraisals, analyzing data for risks, and preparing insightful economic reports. Collaborate with underwriters and mentor junior staff, utilizing your industry expertise in urban markets across Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct real estate appraisals in lending areas

• Validate and analyze market data for valuation reports

• Guide assessments on distressed real estate assets

• Track economic trends and forecast potential impacts

• Mentor team members on appraisal interpretation

Requirements:

• Must hold a high school diploma; diploma or degree encouraged

• Fully designated appraiser with AIC or CNAREA

• 2 years of experience in property appraisal required

• Critical thinking and analytical skills essential

• Experience in Alberta major city markets crucial
