Coventry (Hybrid Working)Contract: 6 months initiallyWorking Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pmRate: £450 - £500 per day UmbrellaJob Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Asset & Estates Surveyor to join a public sector organisation based in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified RICS Valuation Surveyor to provide specialist asset management and estate surveying support across a varied property portfolio.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering professional valuation, asset management and estates advice, supporting the effective management and optimisation of the organisation's property assets.Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional valuation advice across a diverse property portfolio.
- Undertake RICS-compliant valuations for a range of property assets.
- Support asset management strategies and estate planning activities.
- Provide expert advice on property acquisitions, disposals, leases and estate matters.
- Manage and deliver property-related projects and initiatives.
- Prepare valuation reports, options appraisals and supporting documentation.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, professional standards and RICS guidance.
- MRICS qualification is essential.
- Proven experience working as a RICS Valuation Surveyor within a property, asset management or estates environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience of property valuations and estate management.
- Experience working within the public sector/local authority environment is desirable.
- Ability to provide high-quality professional advice and deliver work independently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Hybrid working available.
- Ideally 1-2 days per week required on site in Coventry, with flexibility for remote working.
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (37 hours per week).
- Initial 6-month interim contract.
- £450 - £500 per day Umbrella (dependent on experience).
