Job Profile

Reporting to the Supervisor of Property Management and Appraisal, the Senior Property Manager is responsible for the strategic management and cost-effective administration of a large and diverse portfolio of property agreements, including but not limited to leases, licenses, encroachments etc. for City-owned properties, such as office, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and community-use spaces.

This includes negotiating complex and politically sensitive agreements, overseeing the full lifecycle of transactions, and ensuring they are completed on time to safeguard the City's financial, legal, and operational interests.

The Senior Property Manager monitors ongoing administration of agreements, including tenant improvements, inspections, rent collection, and compliance with lease covenants and other agreement terms. The role also conducts market and financial analyses, prepares documentation and reports for Council and delegated authorities, and coordinates operational initiatives and implements policy to support informed decision-making, financial integrity, and cost-effective outcomes across the portfolio.
