Junior Asset Manager
West End, London Hybrid Working £55,000 - £60,000 + Excellent Benefits
A prestigious real estate investment company with a portfolio exceeding £1.5 billion across prime UK and international locations is seeking a Junior Asset Manager to join its London-based Asset Management team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded property professional looking to develop their career within a highly respected investment business, working across both UK and US real estate assets. The role offers exposure to strategic asset management, investment analysis, and portfolio performance across a diverse commercial property portfolio.
The RoleWorking alongside experienced Asset Managers, you will support the strategic management and performance of a substantial commercial property portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation of business plans, forecasts, budgets, and asset strategies
- Reviewing and analysing service charge budgets
- Supporting acquisition and investment appraisals
- Producing regular and ad hoc asset management reports
- Liaising with property managers, accountants, and external advisers
- Assisting with lease events, renewals, assignments, and subletting requests
- Conducting property inspections and monitoring asset performance
- Gathering market intelligence and benchmarking data
- Supporting property valuations and investment reporting
- Contributing to value-add initiatives across the portfolio
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- MRICS qualified, or AssocRICS currently working towards completion of your APC
- Property management experience within commercial real estate
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- A collaborative and proactive approach to work
- Competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000
