About the Role
Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Real Estate Valuer to join their esteemed firm in East London . This role involves conducting accurate and thorough property valuations for a variety of purposes, including mortgage lending, property sales, and investment analysis. You will be responsible for inspecting properties, analyzing market data, and preparing detailed valuation reports. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of valuation methodologies, and a commitment to providing reliable and impartial assessments within the East London property market.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct physical inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Research and analyze market data, comparable sales, and economic factors affecting property values.
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate property valuation reports using accepted methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, ethical codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with clients, real estate agents, financial institutions, and legal professionals.
- Maintain detailed records of valuations and supporting documentation.
- Professional qualification in Property Valuations (e.g., NQF Level
7) and registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., SACAP, EAB). - Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Real Estate Valuer .
- Extensive knowledge of property valuation principles, techniques, and local market dynamics.
- Proficiency in valuation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse workload in a hybrid setting.
