About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly respected Senior Real Estate Valuer to join their team, operating remotely with a focus on the Randburg and wider Gauteng region. This role is paramount in providing accurate and defensible property valuations for a variety of purposes, including mortgage lending, investment analysis, and litigation support. You will be responsible for conducting thorough property inspections, market research, and applying advanced valuation methodologies.

The successful candidate will uphold the highest professional standards and contribute significantly to the firm's reputation for expertise and integrity in the property valuation sector.

• Conduct comprehensive physical inspections of diverse property types in the Randburg area and surrounding regions.
• Prepare detailed and accurate property valuations reports using recognized methodologies.
• Perform in-depth market research, analyzing sales data, rental rates, and economic factors impacting property values.
• Liaise with clients, lenders, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to discuss valuation findings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant professional standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior valuers and contribute to the continuous improvement of valuation practices.

• Professional designation as a Certified Valuer or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in real estate valuation.
• Extensive knowledge of the Randburg property market and its unique characteristics.
• Proficiency in valuation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
