About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Real Estate Valuer to join their expanding team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role involves conducting comprehensive property valuations for a diverse range of assets across South Africa . You will leverage your deep market knowledge and expertise to provide accurate and insightful valuation reports that guide critical investment and lending decisions.

• Perform detailed market research and analysis to determine property values for residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
• Conduct physical inspections of properties (where feasible and necessary, utilizing virtual tools primarily) and gather relevant data.
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate valuation reports , including detailed justifications and methodologies.
• Liaise with clients, legal professionals, and financial institutions to clarify valuation parameters and present findings.
• Stay abreast of market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes impacting property values.
• Mentor junior valuers and contribute to the development of internal valuation standards and best practices.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate valuation or property appraisal.
• Professional designation or qualification in property valuation (e.g., SACAP, SAIUP).
• Proven ability to conduct complex valuations and produce high-quality reports.
• Proficiency in property valuation software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines in a remote setting .
