My client is a fast-growing, technology-driven appraisal firm that is rethinking the traditional appraisal model. Rather than the conventional commission-only, work-alone structure, they place designated appraisers on salary and organize work into collaborative "pods" - small teams that work together to produce appraisal reports. We are looking for one designated appraiser per location in each of the following markets:

Halifax, NS, Fredericton, NB, Regina SK, Saskatoon SK, Winnipeg MB, Vernon BC

Important:
You do not need to live in the city itself - on-the-ground inspection support is provided. What you do need is genuine geographic competency in that market and residency in the same province. Please indicate which market you are applying for.

(Vernon note: our client is already a recognized name in this region, which is centrally located to serve a range of higher-fee remote areas.)

• Produce high-quality residential appraisal reports as part of a collaborative pod
• Apply your designated expertise to sign off on reports within your area of geographic competency
• Leverage the firm's technology platform and inspection tools in the field and in reporting
• Collaborate with fellow appraisers and support staff through the firm's team channels
• Contribute to a growing, scaling operation with ongoing volume

• Designation (required):
  Active CRA or AACI in good standing with the Appraisal Institute of Canada
• Geographic competency in one of the six markets above, with residency in that same province
• 3+ years of residential appraisal experience (preferred)
• Strong technology skills - genuine comfort with inspection apps, digital reporting, and modern software tools
• A collaborative, self-starting mindset - someone who thrives in a structured, team-based model and is open to a different, proven way of producing appraisals
• A long-term orientation - you're looking to build and stay, not pass through
