Remote Senior Real Estate Valuer

Our client is a leading real estate advisory firm seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Real Estate Valuer to join their fully remote team. This role is critical for assessing the market value of diverse property portfolios for a variety of purposes, including financing, investment, and due diligence. You will be instrumental in delivering accurate, well-researched, and defensible valuations, contributing significantly to client decision-making processes. • Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties (remotely, where possible, or liaising with local resources).
• Research and analyze market data, comparable sales, rental income, and development potential.
• Prepare comprehensive and compliant valuation reports adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Apply various valuation methodologies, including sales comparison, cost, and income capitalization approaches.
• Liaise with clients, lenders, and legal professionals to gather necessary information and discuss valuation findings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, economic conditions, and legislative changes affecting property values across Gauteng.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all valuation data and documentation.
• Provide expert advice and consultation on property valuation matters.

• Professional qualification in Property Valuations (e.g., NQF Level 7 or equivalent) and registration as a Professional Valuer with the relevant South African statutory body.
• A minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in property valuation.
• Demonstrated expertise in valuing a wide range of property types.
• Proficiency in valuation software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines in a remote setting.
• Understanding of the property market dynamics in the Tembisa and surrounding areas is beneficial.
• A reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup are required.
