Vineyard Property Development Manager

** region. This senior role requires a unique blend of expertise in property development, agricultural management (particularly viticulture), and project execution. You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from land acquisition and planning approvals to construction oversight and sales, with a specialization in high-value vineyard estates. • Identify and evaluate potential sites for new vineyard estate developments in and around
  ** Stellenbosch**.
• Manage all phases of the development process, including feasibility studies, conceptual design, planning, and securing necessary permits.
• Oversee the design and implementation of vineyard infrastructure, including irrigation systems, soil preparation, and planting strategies.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, construction teams, and agricultural consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop and manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Liaise with local authorities and community stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
• Lead the sales and marketing efforts for developed properties, targeting discerning buyers interested in wine estates.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices in viticulture and land management in the
  ** Western Cape**.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in property development, with at least 3 years focused on agricultural or vineyard properties.
• Strong understanding of viticulture, vineyard establishment, and wine production processes.
• Proven project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex development projects.
• Experience in land acquisition, zoning, and obtaining development approvals.
• Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and investment analysis.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• A relevant degree in Property Development, Agricultural Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with the
