Commercial Leasing Agent

Our client, a leading commercial real estate services firm with a significant portfolio of office, retail, and industrial spaces, is seeking a results-oriented Commercial Leasing Agent to join their dynamic team in Benoni . This hybrid role combines the flexibility of remote work for client outreach and administrative tasks with the necessity of on-site property tours and client meetings. You will be responsible for marketing available commercial spaces, identifying and engaging potential tenants, and negotiating lease agreements to maximize occupancy and rental income for our client's properties across Gauteng.

• Actively market and showcase available commercial properties (office, retail, industrial) in the Benoni area and surrounding regions to prospective tenants.
• Identify and pursue leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and online platforms.
• Conduct property tours and present leasing opportunities effectively to potential tenants.
• Negotiate lease terms, conditions, and rates to secure favorable agreements for our client.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential tenants, brokers, and property owners.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling leasing collateral and campaigns.
• Stay informed about commercial real estate market trends, vacancy rates, and competitor activities in the Benoni market.
• Prepare and present leasing proposals and market analyses to management.
• Manage lease administration processes and ensure smooth tenant onboarding.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and occasional on-site property inspections or client engagements.

• Proven experience in commercial real estate leasing or sales, with a strong understanding of the leasing process.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build a prospect pipeline, and close deals.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of commercial property types and lease structures.
• Proficiency in CRM software and commercial real estate listing platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with the Benoni and broader Gauteng commercial property market is highly desirable.
• A proactive and persistent approach to achieving leasing targets.
