Real Estate Investment Manager; Remote

Our client, a leading institutional real estate investment firm, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Real Estate Investment Manager to join their fully remote team. This pivotal role will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, acquiring, and managing a portfolio of income-generating real estate assets. Source, evaluate, and execute new real estate investment opportunities across various property types and geographic markets, with a focus on opportunities relevant to Kimberley 's economic landscape. Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models, including pro forma analysis, discounted cash flow (DCF), and sensitivity analysis, to assess investment viability and risk. Conduct thorough due diligence, including market research, property inspections (as feasible remotely), financial statement analysis, and legal review.

Negotiate purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and other transaction-related documents. Manage the entire acquisition process from initial underwriting through closing. Oversee the asset management of the existing portfolio, including monitoring financial performance, developing strategic plans, and implementing value-add initiatives. Prepare detailed investment committee memos, market reports, and portfolio performance updates for senior management and investors. Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, lenders, developers, legal counsel, and other industry professionals.

Stay abreast of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the real estate investment sector.

Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field. A CFA or advanced degree is highly preferred. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in real estate investment, acquisitions, or asset management, preferably within institutional real estate. Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring. Deep understanding of real estate capital markets and investment strategies. Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Proven ability to manage complex projects independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. Proficiency in real estate data platforms (e.g., CoStar, Argus) and advanced Excel skills. High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
