Job Description
A postdoctoral opening is available in the group of Chad Hoyer () to begin Summer 2025 (July preferred). The position is on‑site or remote for 1 year, with opportunity for second‑year renewal pending approval of year‑3 continued award funding and performance.

This is a full‑time role for a postdoctoral appointment at The University of Texas at El Paso. If remote, you will need to attend two in‑person meetings a year. The postdoc will be responsible for conducting research, collaborating with faculty members, participating in academic activities, and working with undergraduate and graduate members of the group.
Compensation: $57,218 for the first year.
Qualifications- United States Citizenship.
- Experience with quantum chemistry calculations or heavy‑element chemistry.
- Strong research skills and ability to critically analyze data.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate with faculty and peers.
- Demonstrated commitment to academic excellence.
- PhD in a relevant field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
