Market Researcher

The D Group seeks a personable, detail-oriented, and analytical Market Researcher to support our talented marketing squad develop effective strategies. As a contractor, you will conduct research, analyze data, and provide actionable insights that inform marketing strategies for nonprofit and municipal clients. This role emphasizes collaboration with the Marketing Strategist and D5 leadership.

Research & Analysis

• Conduct audience research and competitive analysis using traditional and digital methods
• Analyze market trends, demographics, and behaviors to identify opportunities
• Present research findings to support strategy development
• Work with the Marketing Strategist to align research with strategic goals
• Provide regular updates and findings to D5 leadership

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, related fields, or equivalent industry-recognized certifications
• 3+ years of experience in market research (contractor experience preferred)
• Proficiency in both traditional and digital research techniques and tools
• Strong analytical and data visualization skills
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

• Experience using project management tools
• Familiarity with Northeast Ohio’s nonprofit and municipal sectors
• Local candidates preferred
• Time Commitment: Project-based, with availability dependent on scope
• Key Deliverables: Research reports, competitive analyses, and actionable recommendations
• Independence: Operate autonomously, adhering to deadlines and D5 Group’s professional standards
