Research Scientist (Chemistry)
Join Data Annotation as a Research Scientist (Chemistry) to train AI models. You will measure the progress of AI chatbots, evaluate their logic, and solve problems to improve model quality.
In this role you will need to hold an expert level understanding of chemistry. Related fields include:
Research and Development Chemist, Formulation Scientist, Development Chemist, Analytical Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Medicinal Chemist, Biochemist, Process Development Chemist.
- Full‑time or part‑time remote position
- Choose your projects and work on your own schedule
- Hourly compensation starting at $40+ USD, plus bonuses for high‑quality and high‑volume work
- Give AI chatbots complex chemistry questions and evaluate their outputs
- Assess correctness and performance of AI‑generated chemistry content
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
- Attention to detail
- Solid knowledge of general, organic, and physical chemistry concepts
- Masters and/or PhD in a related field preferred but not required
Payment is made via Pay Pal. Only applicants in the United States will be considered for this role. This is an independent contract position.
