Job Description
  • The student in this position will work across a broad suite of tasks related to the application of conservation psychology principles and methods to various projects, including catch-and-release recreational fishing and climate-based emotions.
  • Duties will include a range of tasks, including comprehensive literature reviews on climate-based emotions, science and society, and content identification and programming development for the Conservation Psychology Lab.
  • Additional duties will be completed following consultation with the student regarding specific interests and skill development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Student has interest and/or background in conservation psychology or related fields. Interest and/or experience with research, program facilitation, familiarity with conservation psychology concepts, principles and methods.
  • Strong writing and critical analysis skills, including working knowledge of journal databases, references and resources.
  • Strong desire to learn and apply insights from the behavioral sciences to a range of topical areas, including climate communication, audience engagement, participatory research, recreational fisheries, among others.
