Research Assistant/Associate
The Deer Forest Study seeks to fill two part-time positions that will assist with quality control and processing of forest canopy photos. These photos were taken by field crews in summer 2025 and will be used to estimate the level of light reaching study plots. This work will contribute to evaluating the influence of abiotic (soil, light) and biotic (deer) factors in forest regeneration in Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities- Assist with quality control and processing of forest canopy photos collected by field crews in summer 2025.
- Contribute to estimating light available to study plots and to evaluating the influence of abiotic and biotic factors on forest regeneration.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
